Sariska was once the Rajput State known as Mewat. The state was free of any external invasion for a very long time. It was finally suppressed by Sultan Balban thus bringing the Mewat under the Muslims rule. In 1771 AD, Maharaja Pratap Singh of Kachhwaha clan fought back Alwar and established a principality of his own. Sariska is well known for the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay at Sariska with E Indian Vacations.
